Epping Heights is committed to ensuring that each child's learning needs are catered for at school.
A very active and effective Learning Support Team meets every fortnight to discuss students who have been referred by their teachers. The team which comprsies stage supervisors, the School Counsellor, the ESL teacher and the principal share their expertise and professional experience in dealing with concerns raised.
As a result of discussions, suggestions are made regarding strategies to support students in the classroom. Parents will also be contacted to discuss concerns raised and suggestions may be made for referral to the school counsellor, support teachers or other professionals for further advice, assessment and support.
